Hello!

This post was pointed out to me by one of the other folks over here at TechSoup Stock, and I thought I'd drop by and try to make things a little clearer for you.

Microsoft allows one order per calendar year, with a maximum of two orders every two years. Those orders can contain up to six titles, with up to fifty copies of each title. At the end of the two year period, your ordering limits are reset, and you can order six different titles, up to fifty licenses each.

CALs do count against your title limit, as do servers; more, some servers count as two titles, or only allow you to get one copy. When this is the case, it will say so on the product information page. You need CALs to allow multiple users or machines to access your servers.

I hope this helps to allay some of your confusion; feel free to contact us at any time if you have questions or need help.

Best,
Seanan

-----------

Seanan McGuire
Customer Service Lead Operator
TechSoup Stock

800-659-3579, extension 700
Fax: 415-633-9444

TechSoup Stock, Bringing technology donations to nonprofits
http://www.techsoup.org/stock
